The Tamworth Lodge is the perfect family, business, or team-building, ‘retreat’, located amongst the hills and pines in the heart of hiking country, the foothills of the White Mountains.
Come relax beneath the cathedral pines that tower over this unique two family vacation retreat. Grab another family and get away for a week of rest and revitalization. This home sleeps twelve comfortably.
The main house has two bedrooms and a shared bath on the second floor and a full bath on the first floor. The first floor also has a traditional living room with floor to ceiling stone fireplace that roars comfort, a sitting/dining room with meadow views out one side and mountain views out the other, and a fully stocked and recently renovated kitchen with full size refrigerator and dishwasher.
The guest house has two bedrooms with a full bath situated between them, as well as a sitting/living/dining room combination with a galley kitchen that overlook the meadow. Like the main house, this kitchen also has a full size refrigerator and dishwasher as well as gas range.
Bring your favorite grilling recipes and cook over the mammoth stone barbeque. This oversize showpiece sits next to a large screened Gazebo and together they are a favorite gathering place for cocktail hour.
Located 5 miles from the Tamworth village center, we are situated right at the edge of the Sandwich range in the White Mountains, affording excellent hiking opportunities only a few miles away. Also, there is great swimming in several of the town or state beaches nearby.
